'KEEPING CHARACTER
WITH COMPOSITE'
"This patient was afraid to
smile because of the gap at
the centre of her smile. She
had considered
orthodontics but was put off
because of the cost.
We had a wax-up done by
the lab to try in what it
might look like to close the
gap a little and she liked it,
so we did this for her in
composite.
If we closed the gap
completely then the teeth
would look too broad.
Keeping the gap actually
worked well because it kept
her character whilst
improving her confidence."
